Clean and sanitize patient rooms and assigned areas following infection prevention standards.

Change bed linens, collect trash, laundry, and sharps, and launder patient clothing as needed.

Follow isolation protocols and safety procedures.

Restock patient rooms with linens, paper products, and other supplies.

Transport furniture and equipment throughout the facility as needed.

Keep housekeeping carts and equipment clean, organized, and ready for use.

Some employees in this role may operate a motor vehicle while conducting MaineGeneral Health business.
