Residential AV Installation and Alarm System Technician

Position Summary:
Paramount Audio Video Corp. is seeking a qualified, reliable AV Technician for a long-term opportunity to join our team. We are seeking a reliable individual with previous experience, is detail-oriented and time efficient; additionally, the ideal candidate will be self-motivated and able to work with minimal supervision.
Responsibilities:
- Comprehension of low-voltage wiring systems, including previous experience pulling wires for both new construction, and existing homes and businesses.
- Ability to work with various types of equipment, including, but not limited to:
- Televisions
- Projectors
- Speakers
- Equipment Racks
- Networking Equipment
- AV Equipment
- Control Systems (i.e. Savant, Control4, etc.)
- Alarm system experience a plus.
- Skillset to troubleshoot and problem-solve networking and technological products and systems independently.
- Must be customer-focused, and able to establish and maintain positive rapport with customers to ensure a mutually positive experience to retain and build company business.
Requirements:
- Minimum of 2 years’ experience with low-voltage installation.
- Demonstrated understanding of local and national construction and safety code regulations.
- Valid driver’s license – company vehicle provided based upon background check.
- Ability to lift greater than 50 pounds and climb ladders up to and beyond 10 feet.
- Capable of working in small spaces (i.e. crawl spaces and attics, etc.).
- Knowledge of programming control systems a plus (i.e. Savant, Control 4, etc.).
