Job Summary
We are seeking a dynamic and experienced Superintendent to lead and oversee construction projects from inception to completion. This role requires a proactive leader with a strong background in construction management, ensuring projects are delivered on time, within budget, and to the highest quality standards. The Superintendent will coordinate all on-site activities, manage teams, and ensure compliance with safety regulations, including OSHA standards. Duties
- Lead and supervise construction site activities, ensuring adherence to project schedules, budgets, and quality standards.
- Review and interpret technical drawings, schematics, blueprints, and construction plans to guide onsite execution.
- Manage subcontractors, suppliers, and internal teams to ensure seamless workflow and communication across all phases of the project.
- Conduct regular site inspections to monitor safety compliance with OSHA regulations and federal construction safety standards.
- Oversee construction estimating, budgeting, and cost control measures
- Ensure quality control through rigorous review of construction drawings, schematics, and technical documents
- Supervise the review of contracts, change orders, and other project documentation to maintain clarity and compliance.
- Utilize construction management software for daily reporting, documentation, and communication.
- Manage construction site safety protocols diligently, including the use of tools like ohmmeters for electrical testing when necessary.
- Oversee construction schedule coordination with project teams to meet deadlines efficiently while maintaining safety standards.
Skills
- Extensive experience with construction site management and supervision in large-scale projects.
- Strong knowledge of OSHA regulations and federal safety standards specific to heavy civil or infrastructure projects.
- Skilled in interpreting technical drawings, schematics, blueprints, and construction plans accurately.
- Proven ability to manage teams effectively in a fast-paced environment while maintaining high safety standards.
- Excellent communication skills for coordinating with subcontractors, clients, vendors, and internal teams.
- Ability to supervise multiple crews on-site while ensuring quality control through regular inspections.
- Knowledge of pipeline projects or heavy civil infrastructure is a plus; experience managing complex federal projects is highly desirable.

Pay: $75,000.00 - $85,000.00 per year
