The Infant-Toddler Teacher provides services to children 6wks-3yrs inside an infant/toddler classroom. An Early Head Start Infant-Toddler Teacher works alongside a co-teacher to create a safe learning environment daily from 7:30a-3:30p.
Requirements:

Must have a minimum of a CDA (Child Development Associate) with Infant/Toddler focus or a higher degree in the area of Early Childhood Education or a related field of study.
- Experience of at least 1 year in an Early Childhood setting.

Self-directed and multitask oriented.

Ability to organize, coordinate, and direct projects.

Excellent leadership skills.

Infant-Toddler Teacher

Implement daily schedules including lesson plans and individual plans for infants and toddlers, routines, follow EHS Program policies and procedures, and provide quality care to children 6 wks- 3 yrs old.

Maintains children's files and documentation with organization and confidentiality.

Relational

Builds relationships with parents and creates opportunities for parent involvement in their classroom and center.

Communicates with families regarding their child(ren) and the services being provided.

Works with co-teacher, center staff, program coordinators and community partners to support the work of Early Head Start
