This is a founding engineering role with direct ownership and massive impact.
The Role
The Staff Full Stack Engineer will join the founding engineering team and take end-to-end ownership of critical features across backend systems and frontend experiences.
This role is built for a high-agency engineer who thrives in early-stage environments, moves quickly, and can take ideas from concept to production.
What You’ll Be Responsible For
Full-Stack Product Development

Design, build, and enhance an AI-driven agent powering platform interactions

Lead development across backend, middleware, and frontend layers

Own core workflows including trip management, request generation, and user experiences
Systems Integration & Scale

Integrate with flight management systems to surface real-time aircraft availability and live transponder data

Build and scale dispatch tools for fleet and pilot management

Support development of an iOS-first pilot application
AI & Engineering Acceleration

Leverage AI tools such as Claude and similar LLMs to accelerate development

Improve engineering workflows through automation and AI-assisted tooling
Infrastructure & Architecture

Work with containerization and infrastructure tooling including Docker, Kubernetes, and CI/CD pipelines

Contribute to scalable, production-grade system design
What We’re Looking For
Required Experience
-
5–10+ years of full-stack engineering experience

Meaningful experience in early-stage startups (pre–Series C)

Proven ability to take products or major features from 0–1 or 1–scale

Strong proficiency in JavaScript, TypeScript, Node.js, and React

Experience using AI in product development and workflow automation

High-agency mindset with strong ownership and autonomy
Technical & Academic Background

Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in Computer Science strongly preferred

Familiarity with Docker, Kubernetes, and modern CI/CD pipelines

Clear signal of excellence through technical leadership, high-impact work, or academic achievement
Compensation & Benefits

Base salary: $180,000–$220,000 USD
