This position commences at a W-2 hourly rate for a 90-day probationary period. After the probationary period, the position transitions to salary pay with the opportunity for a raise. There will be an opportunity for another raise 3-6mo post-hire.
This position is a launchpad to a leadership role with our company! You will be acting as the “right hand” to the company owner and exposed to high-level workflows.
Compensation: Starting rate varies depending on experience, but huge potential for rapid growth

Primary Job Duties
- Shadow the owner/founders to learn how to execute special bookkeeping projects
- Cross-train with Bookkeeping Account Managers to support retainer clients
- Own a capped roster of retainer clients
- Document standard operating procedures
- Audit existing systems for inefficiencies
- Pick-up and deliver paperwork between team members and/or clients
- Assist with onboarding new clients
- Assist with clean-up bookkeeping project management
- Correspond with clients and their customers/vendors
- Maintain annual QuickBooks Certification
- Comply with federal, state, and company policies, procedures, and regulations
- Correspond with federal, state, and local tax agencies when necessary
