We are seeking a dedicated and detail-oriented Dietary Aide to join our food services team in Port St. Joe, Florida. As a key member of our team, you will play a vital role in ensuring the health, nutrition, and well-being of our residents.
Responsibilities:
- Assist the dietary department with food preparation, serving, and cleanup
- Maintain a clean and organized kitchen environment, adhering to sanitation and safety standards
- Prepare and serve meals according to established menus and resident preferences
- Assist with inventory management, food ordering, and storage
- Collaborate with the dietary team to create a positive dining experience for our residents
- Keep accurate records of food temperatures, inventory levels, and cleaning schedules
Requirements:
- High school diploma or equivalent required
- Prior experience in food services or healthcare setting preferred
- Ability to lift 50 pounds and stand for extended periods
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
- Strong attention to detail and ability to work in a fast-paced environment
