Job Overview
Client Details
Our client, Aqua Clinic, is a boutique medical aesthetics and hair restoration clinic, known for advanced hair transplant techniques, including FUE, DHI (using the Choi Implanter Pen), and Sapphire FUE. Their flagship U.S. location stays fully booked three months in advance. They're now opening a new clinic in Maryland this September 2026 and building out the clinical team for the launch.
Role Responsibilities
- Perform follicular unit extraction (FUE) and direct hair implantation (DHI, using the Choi Implanter Pen) under physician supervision.
- Prepare the patient and donor/recipient areas following sterile protocols.
- Sort, count, and preserve grafts under magnification, ensuring graft viability.
- Maintain infection control and aseptic technique at all times.
- Participate in hairline design alongside the physician.
- Train and mentor junior/assistant staff.
- Operate within a high-volume clinical schedule — 2 surgeries a day, 6 days a week, at full capacity.
Requirements
- 5+ years of hands-on experience specifically in the DHI technique (not just FUE).
- Direct graft implantation experience — not only graft preparation.
- Proven experience using the Choi Implanter Pen.
- Strong understanding of hair angles, direction, and density design support.
- Ability to maintain graft integrity and minimize transection during placement.
- Experience working in high-volume DHI procedures preferred.
- Active state license in a relevant field (cosmetology, esthetics, or other applicable state-issued license), or eligibility to obtain one.
- Advanced certification in hair transplantation (DHI Academy, ISHRS-recognized training, or equivalent).
- Proven case portfolio (before/after).
- Willingness to relocate to Maryland.
Job Offer
- $65,000–$95,000/year (W-2), or $500 per procedure (1099 independent contractor).
- Relocation support; visa/residency sponsorship available for the right candidate — open to U.S.-based and international applicants.
Pay: $65,000.00 - $95,000.00 per year
