Overview
We are seeking motivated and dedicated individuals to join our culinary team as Line Cook, Prep Cook, Salad Station or Dishwasher. This role offers an exciting opportunity to develop culinary skills within a dynamic food service environment. The position involves supporting kitchen operations, preparing ingredients, cooking dishes, and maintaining a clean and safe workspace. Ideal candidates will have a passion for food, attention to detail, and a commitment to food safety standards. Prior experience in food handling, restaurant operations, or catering is preferred but not required; training will be provided for the right candidates.
Responsibilities
- Prepare ingredients and assist with meal preparation according to menu specifications
- Cook and assemble dishes efficiently while maintaining quality standards
- Follow proper food handling and safety procedures to ensure hygiene and compliance
- Maintain cleanliness of kitchen stations, utensils, and equipment throughout shifts
- Assist with dishwashing duties to ensure timely turnover of clean dishes and utensils
- Support kitchen staff during busy periods by providing assistance with food service tasks
- Help with menu planning and portion control as needed
- Adhere to all health regulations and safety guidelines to promote a safe working environment
Requirements
- Previous experience in food industry roles such as dietary aide, culinary assistant, or restaurant staff is a plus
- Knowledge of food preparation, cooking techniques, and food safety protocols is a plus
- Strong knife skills and ability to handle various kitchen tools safely is a plus
- Experience with meal preparation, food handling, and serving in a fast-paced environment is a plus
- Ability to work efficiently both independently and as part of a team
- Flexibility to work various shifts including evenings and weekends if required
- A positive attitude with a strong work ethic and attention to detail
- Prior experience in dietary department or catering services is advantageous but not mandatory
