Responsibilities
- Measure, cut, assemble, and install trim, cabinetry, doors, windows, and other finish carpentry components using hand tools and power tools
- Read and interpret blueprints, schematics, and technical drawings to ensure precise execution of projects
- Perform framing tasks including metal stud framing and wood framing for interior partitions or exterior structures
- Execute detailed tasks such as caulking, stucco application, siding installation, and drywall finishing to achieve smooth surfaces
- Handle restoration work involving water damage remediation, mold remediation, or structural repairs with meticulous attention to detail
- Fabricate custom woodwork or metal fixtures in the shop or on-site as needed for specific project requirements
- Assist with heavy lifting and material handling to ensure safety and efficiency on construction sites
- Collaborate with project managers and other tradespeople to meet deadlines and maintain quality standards
Experience
- Proven experience in finish carpentry or related construction roles with a focus on detailed craftsmanship
- Familiarity with construction estimating processes and reading complex blueprints or schematics
- Hands-on experience with hand tools, power tools, CNC machinery, and fabrication techniques
- Knowledge of various construction disciplines including framing, roofing, masonry, plumbing, electrical work, and flooring installation
- Background in restoration industry projects such as water damage repair or mold remediation is highly desirable
- Ability to perform heavy lifting safely and efficiently in diverse environments
- Strong understanding of safety protocols on construction sites along with experience working in manufacturing or remodeling settings
