We are a high paced, modern dental practice, providing all aspects of dental care to the entire family from pediatrics, to geriatrics, preventative care, periodontal care, orthodontics, implants, cosmetic dentistry, to sedation dentistry and full reconstructions. **Job Summary:**
Supports dental care delivery by preparing treatment room, seating patients, explaining treatment to patients, scheduling patient appointments, sterilization; passing instruments and materials, generalized support of all aspects of the dental office and assisting with x-ray services.
**Qualifications:**
- High school diploma or equivalent required.
- Completion of a dental assistant program or equivalent experience.
- Experience working in a dental clinic or related healthcare environment.
- Strong knowledge of dental terminology and procedures.
- Familiarity with Fuse dental software.
- Ability to work effectively in a fast-paced environment and prioritize tasks.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
- Commitment to patient care and a passion for delivering exceptional patient experiences.
- Knowledge of HIPAA regulations and infection control protocols.
- Ability to lift and move equipment and supplies as needed.
- Ability to take impressions, pouring and trimming models
- Taking digital x-rays
- Orthodontic Assisting preferred but not required
**Availability and Benefits:**
This position is Full Time and Part Time between 20-40 hours per week and would require assistance in our Fredericksburg location. Pay rate is competitive and negotiable, and does include full time benefits including PTO, Holidays and Health and IRA benefits.
