Special Education Teacher- Duties
The Special Education (SPED) Teacher plays a key role in developing positive relationships with students, staff, and families. This collaboration and professionalism are essential for the success of the special education department. The teacher will develop and implement individualized education programs (IEPs) that address the diverse needs of students with disabilities. The SPED Teacher will report directly to the Special Education Coordinator.

Special Education Teacher- Requirements
- Active California Special Education Teaching Credential - Mild to Moderate (Required)
- Bachelors Degree (Required)
- 1 Year of teaching Special Education
- Spanish-speaking preferred but not required
Schedule: M-F 7:30 PM-4 PM (4:30 PM on select days), some evening events
Number of Hours: 40 hours a week
Position: Full Time
Starting Salary: $74,070- $84,637 for newly hired special education credential (salary table goes up to $120,221) a year PLUS stipends
