Our client, a leader in autonomous vehicle technology, is seeking a dedicated and skilled Engineering Technician to join their innovative team. As an Engineering Technician, you will be a vital part of the Support and Validation Department, working closely with the Autonomous Software Development team. The ideal candidate will demonstrate problem-solving skills, technical proficiency, and a proactive attitude, which will enable you to thrive in a dynamic and forward-thinking environment.
Job Title: Engineering Technician
Location: Sunnyvale, CA
Pay Range:$38-46/hr.
What's the Job?
- Support and track configurations of test platforms to ensure consistency and reliability
- Diagnose, troubleshoot, and repair test hardware to maintain operational efficiency
- Collaborate with engineering teams to troubleshoot complex technical issues
- Build and repair harnesses based on electrical diagrams for testing purposes
- Assemble, install, and configure computers and vehicle system components into server racks
What's Needed?
- Knowledge of automotive CAN bus networks and electrical schematics
- Experience using Linux and running scripts for system management
- Proficiency with Google Suite, JIRA, and Confluence for documentation and collaboration
- Ability to use digital multimeters and oscilloscopes for troubleshooting
- Experience building and troubleshooting computers and networking infrastructure
