Greenerprinter, a rapidly-expanding online printing company, has an opening for an experienced Swing Shift Bindery Operator. This role is responsible for operating bindery equipment on daily production orders and meeting product deadlines during our evening shift which starts at 3pm and ends at 11:30pm.
Duties and Responsibilities:
- Operate and set up perfect binding equipment efficiently and accurately
- Perform round cornering, packaging, and handwork tasks
- Monitor machines and make adjustments as necessary to ensure proper operation
- Maintain a clean and organized work area
- Meet and/or exceed productivity goals set by the Bindery Manager
- Complete all work safely, accurately, and according to schedule
Knowledge and Skill Requirements:
- Prior bindery experience required
- Familiarity with perfect binding equipment strongly preferred
- Ability to communicate effectively with all personnel
- Good eye for detail and quality
- Accountability, initiative, and a "can-do" approach expected
- Excellent attendance required
