Responsibilities
- Prepare and serve a variety of beverages including cocktails, beer, wine, and spirits with precision and flair.
- Take food and drink orders accurately using POS systems such as Aloha POS or Micros POS, ensuring timely delivery.
- Provide exceptional customer service by engaging with guests, answering questions about menu items, and making personalized recommendations.
- Maintain cleanliness and organization of the bar area, adhering to food safety and sanitation standards.
- Process cash transactions efficiently while handling cash, credit cards, and POS operations responsibly.
- Develop creative beverage recipes and contribute to menu updates that highlight craft beer, cocktail innovations, or wine selections.
- Collaborate with team members to ensure smooth restaurant operations during busy hours and special events like banquets or catering functions.
Experience
- Previous experience in food service or restaurant environments is highly preferred.
- Demonstrated knowledge of mixology techniques, spirits, wine varieties, and beverage recipe development.
- Familiarity with POS systems such as Aloha POS or Micros POS for processing transactions accurately.
- Strong time management skills to handle multiple tables and orders efficiently in a fast-paced setting.
- Experience working in fine dining establishments or catering environments is a plus.
- Knowledge of food safety standards and proper food handling procedures.
- Proven ability to deliver excellent customer service with a friendly attitude and professional demeanor.
