Responsibilities
- Lead and supervise all kitchen activities, ensuring efficient food production and service delivery.
- Oversee menu planning, recipe development, and food presentation to uphold fine dining standards.
- Manage inventory control, including ordering, stock rotation, and minimizing waste to optimize resources.
- Ensure strict adherence to food safety and sanitation regulations across all kitchen operations.
- Coordinate with catering and banquet teams to execute large-scale events seamlessly.
- Supervise and mentor kitchen staff, fostering a collaborative team environment focused on excellence.
- Oversee shift management, including scheduling, assigning tasks, and monitoring performance.
Qualifications
- Proven experience in food production within a high-end restaurant or hospitality setting, with banquet experience preferred.
- Demonstrated supervising and team management skills with a track record of leadership in the kitchen.
- Strong background in dietary department procedures, food handling, and safety standards.
- Extensive culinary experience with expertise in fine dining cuisine and catering services.
- Knowledge of inventory management, food service management, and kitchen operations.
- Excellent cooking skills complemented by experience in menu planning and food presentation.
