Job Overview
We are seeking a skilled and detail-oriented Electrician to join our team. The ideal candidate will have experience in both Commercial, Residential, and industrial electrical work, demonstrating a strong understanding of electrical systems, codes, and safety protocols. This role requires proficiency in reading schematics and the ability to work effectively on construction sites. Must be able to read blueprints .
Duties
- Install, maintain, and repair electrical systems and equipment in commercial and industrial settings.
- Interpret blueprints, schematics, and technical drawings to determine the layout of electrical systems.
- Utilize testing equipment such as voltmeters, ammeters, and ohmmeters to troubleshoot electrical issues.
- Ensure compliance with the National Electrical Code (NEC) and local regulations during all installations and repairs.
- Collaborate with other tradespeople on construction sites to ensure efficient project completion.
- Perform frame carpentry tasks as needed to support electrical installations.
- Conduct regular inspections of electrical systems to identify potential hazards or areas for improvement.
Skills
- Strong knowledge of electrical systems, including installation and maintenance practices.
- Proficiency in using testing instruments such as voltmeters, ammeters, and ohmmeters.
- Ability to read and interpret schematics and technical drawings accurately.
- Experience working on construction sites with a focus on safety protocols.
- Familiarity with NEC standards and regulations governing electrical work.
- Previous experience as a commercial or industrial electrician is highly desirable.
- Strong problem-solving skills with attention to detail in all aspects of work.
- Have their own hand tools.
