Responsibilities
- Assist licensed physical therapists in developing and executing individualized care plans tailored to each patient's needs.
- Perform therapeutic interventions such as manual therapy, trigger point therapy, and other physiotherapy techniques to promote healing and mobility.
- Support patients with exercises, stretches, and functional activities to facilitate recovery and independence.
- Operate medical equipment safely and effectively during therapy sessions while adhering to safety protocols.
- Collaborate with healthcare professionals including physicians, nurses, and occupational therapists to ensure cohesive patient care.
Experience
- Prior inpatient or outpatient experience in physical therapy or skilled nursing facilities is preferred.
- Hands-on experience with geriatrics, pediatrics, orthopedics, or acute care settings is highly valued.
- Demonstrated knowledge of anatomy, physiology, medical terminology, and clinical assessment documentation.
- Familiarity with medical equipment operation related to physiotherapy treatments.
- Experience working within care plans for diverse populations including home health clients or clients in outpatient clinics.
Pay: $37,000.00 - $55,000.00 per year
