LEAD ELECTRICIAN – COMMERCIAL & RESIDENTIAL
Pay: $28.00–$35.00 per hour, based on experience

JOB SUMMARY
Dependable Electric Services is seeking a highly skilled, dependable, and motivated Lead Electrician to join our growing team. This is a full-time position for an experienced electrician who can confidently lead projects, troubleshoot electrical issues, communicate professionally with customers, and consistently deliver safe, high-quality work.
Our ideal candidate will have strong commercial electrical experience along with residential experience or a willingness to perform residential electrical work when needed. This position offers the opportunity to work on a variety of projects, take ownership of jobs from start to finish, support other electricians in the field, and grow into greater leadership responsibility within the company.

A minimum of five years of solid, hands-on commercial electrical experience is required. Your résumé or application must clearly demonstrate at least five years of relevant electrical field experience.

DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES
- Lead and support electricians and technicians on commercial and residential job sites
- Plan, coordinate, and complete electrical projects from start to finish
- Perform commercial and residential electrical installations, repairs, renovations, and service work
- Diagnose and troubleshoot complex electrical problems accurately and efficiently
- Install and work with electrical panels, circuits, conduit, wiring, lighting, equipment, receptacles, and other electrical systems
- Read and interpret blueprints, electrical drawings, wiring diagrams, and project specifications
- Ensure all work complies with the National Electrical Code, local requirements, company standards, and established safety procedures
- Coordinate necessary materials, equipment, project timelines, and job-site needs
- Communicate professionally with customers, contractors, vendors, inspectors, technicians, and office staff
- Provide clear job updates and maintain accurate documentation
- Train and mentor less-experienced electricians when needed
- Maintain a safe, clean, organized, and productive work environment
- Take ownership of assigned projects and help ensure work is completed correctly, professionally, and on schedule
- Represent Dependable Electric Services professionally at customers’ homes, businesses, and job sites
REQUIRED EXPERIENCE AND QUALIFICATIONS
- Minimum of five years of professional, hands-on electrical experience
- Strong commercial electrical experience is highly preferred
- Residential electrical experience or willingness to perform residential electrical work
- Strong electrical troubleshooting and diagnostic skills
- Demonstrated ability to independently manage electrical work and make sound decisions in the field
- Experience leading projects and supporting other electricians
- Thorough understanding of electrical systems, safety practices, and NEC requirements
- Ability to read and interpret blueprints, wiring diagrams, and technical drawings
- Professional appearance and excellent customer-service skills
- Clear and dependable communication with customers, coworkers, and management
- Strong work ethic, reliability, accountability, and attention to detail
- Pride in producing safe, clean, and high-quality work
- Valid driver’s license and acceptable driving record
- Ability to commute to Suwanee, Georgia, and travel to job sites throughout our service area
COMPENSATION
$28.00–$35.00 per hour, based on experience, qualifications, demonstrated skill level, and leadership ability.
Compensation within the advertised range will be determined by the candidate’s depth of experience, commercial and residential capabilities, troubleshooting skills, leadership background, and ability to independently manage electrical projects. The top of the range is reserved for candidates who demonstrate advanced technical expertise and proven leadership experience.
