Now Hiring – Apprentice & Journeyman Commercial Plumbers
Iron Horse Companies LLC is seeking experienced Apprentice and Journeyman Commercial Plumbers to join our team in Greater Phoenix Area. We specialize in commercial, new construction, tenant improvements, and remodels and are looking for motivated individuals who take pride in their work.
Key Responsibilities:
- Install and lay out cast iron, PVC, and ABS sewer, vent, and roof drain piping.
- Install and lay out copper, CPVC, and PEX water distribution piping.
- Thread, lay out, and install steel gas piping.
- Assemble, install, and start up various plumbing fixtures, equipment, and components.
- Read and interpret blueprints, plans, and manuals accurately.
- Ensure all work complies with federal, state, and local plumbing codes.
- Work effectively with team members and train apprentices/helpers as needed.
- Maintain a clean and organized work area after job completion.
- Demonstrate excellent customer service and professionalism on-site and while operating company vehicles.
- Comply with OSHA safety regulations and company safety policies.
Qualifications:
- Apprentice: Minimum 2+ years of commercial plumbing experience.
- Journeyman: Minimum 4+ years of commercial plumbing experience.
- Experience in hotels, assisted living facilities, student housing, and tenant improvements is a plus.
- High school diploma or GED required.
- Active plumbing license preferred.
- Strong analytical skills and attention to detail.
- Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
- Reliable transportation required.
Required Tools:
- Basic hand tools, including wrenches, pipe cutters, pliers, screwdrivers, and hammers.
- Cordless drill, Sawzall, and impact driver.
- Pipe wrenches, torque wrench, and Allen wrench set.
- Acetylene torch regulator, hose, and tip.
