We are looking for a dependable, motivated, and hands-on Lot Porter Manager to join our team at North Orlando Mitsubishi. This is a great opportunity for someone who takes pride in keeping a dealership organized, clean, and running efficiently.
This is a small dealership, and you will be the primary full-time lot porter, working alongside a part-time porter who will provide additional support. The ideal candidate is someone who can work independently, stay organized, and take ownership of keeping the lot and vehicles ready for customers.
Responsibilities
- Maintain the appearance and organization of the vehicle lot
- Move and park vehicles throughout the dealership as needed
- Keep new and used inventory organized and properly positioned
- Move vehicles between sales, service, detail, fuel, and other areas
- Make sure vehicles are clean and ready for customers and test drives
- Assist with vehicle fueling and basic lot maintenance
- Coordinate vehicle movement and daily lot priorities
- Help maintain an organized inventory and ensure vehicles are easy to locate
- Assist with getting vehicles ready for photos and online merchandising
- Perform basic vehicle checks and report any issues to management
- Keep the dealership grounds, parking areas, and vehicle display areas clean and presentable
- Assist sales and service departments with vehicle movement when needed
- Work closely with management to prioritize vehicles that need immediate attention
- Help oversee and coordinate the part-time porter when scheduled
- Perform other dealership-related tasks as needed
What We're Looking For
- Previous dealership porter/detail/lot experience is required
- Valid driver's license and clean driving record
- Ability to drive both automatic and manual vehicles is a plus
- Reliable, punctual, and hardworking
- Comfortable working outdoors in Florida weather
- Able to work independently without constant supervision
- Strong attention to detail and organization
- Good communication and teamwork skills
- Ability to safely move multiple vehicles throughout the day
- Positive attitude and willingness to help wherever needed
