Join our team as an Egg Packer! In this role, you will be responsible for efficiently and accurately packing eggs into trays, ensuring product quality and safety standards are met. This is an excellent opportunity for individuals who enjoy working on their own and can handle the physical demands of standing for long periods of time.
Duties
- Carefully pack eggs into trays, ensuring correct placement and secure packaging to prevent damage during transportation
- Inspect eggs for quality, size, and cleanliness, removing any defective or damaged items from the production line
- Walk the interior of the poultry houses daily to ensure health and well-being of live poultry
- Communicate with team leaders about repairs that need to be made
- Follow all safety protocols, including proper use of personal protective equipment (PPE), to ensure a safe working environment
Requirements
- Prior experience in manufacturing, packaging, or warehouse environments is preferred but not required; training will be provided
- Mechanical aptitude with the ability to operate hand tools and troubleshoot basic machinery issues
- Strong attention to detail with excellent manual dexterity for handling fragile eggs during packing processes
- Physical stamina to stand, walk, lift, and perform repetitive tasks throughout shifts. Ability to lift 50 pounds.
Pay: $125.00 per day
