We are seeking an experienced Field Service Technician to repair, fabricate, install, and remove a variety of centrifugal, gear, diaphragm, and reciprocating pumps, along with other rotating equipment. This position involves both shop and field work, including equipment troubleshooting, laser alignment, start-ups, repairs, and maintenance. The ideal candidate will have strong pump rebuilding experience, excellent mechanical aptitude, and the ability to work independently at customer sites.
Remove and replace pumps and motors

Perform laser alignment of pumps and motors

Conduct equipment start-ups and troubleshooting

Replace and repair mechanical seals

Service API and ANSI pumps

Repair and rebuild centrifugal and plunger pumps

Perform field installation, removal, and replacement of rotating equipment

Accurately complete field service reports, job tickets, and documentation

Maintain company vehicles, tools, and shop equipment

Utilize precision measuring instruments to ensure equipment performance

Assist with vibration analysis and dynamic balancing activities when applicable
3–7 years of experience in pump rebuilding and field service work

Extensive knowledge of centrifugal pump repair and rebuilding

Ability to work in both field and shop environments

Proficient with precision measuring instruments

Experience with laser alignment preferred

Vibration analysis experience preferred but not required

Knowledge of dynamic balancing is a plus

Valid driver's license with an acceptable driving record

High School Diploma or GED required
Ability to lift up to 50 pounds regularly

Ability to work in various weather conditions, including rain and snow

Ability to stand, bend, kneel, and work with mechanical equipment for extended periods
First Shift
