A well-established industrial manufacturing company in Houston is looking for a
Strategic Sourcing Leader to take ownership of sourcing strategy, supplier performance, cost management, and a small buyer team.
This is a hands-on leadership role for someone who can think strategically, negotiate with suppliers, work closely with operations, and take ownership of key procurement KPIs.
What You’ll Do
- Own Purchase Price Variance (PPV) and cost-performance targets
- Develop and execute strategic sourcing plans
- Negotiate supplier contracts and Master Supply Agreements (MSAs)
- Manage supplier performance, quality, delivery, and risk
- Lead CAPEX and tooling planning and project timelines
- Coach and develop buyers
- Partner with Operations, Engineering, Quality, and Finance
- Support the S&OP process and supply forecasting
What We’re Looking For
- 5–7 years of sourcing/procurement experience
- Manufacturing environment experience
- 1–3 years of team leadership experience
- Strong supplier negotiation and contract management skills
- Experience managing procurement KPIs such as PPV or cost savings
- ERP/MRP and Excel experience
- CAPEX/tooling experience preferred
- Electronics, electro-mechanical, PCB, or similar industrial sourcing experience is a plus

Schedule: Full-time, Monday–Friday, on-site
Salary: $120,000
Travel: Less than 25%
