We are looking for a full time welder. The ideal candidate will be responsible for performing high-quality welding operations on various metal components, ensuring structural integrity and adherence to specifications. This role requires precision, attention to detail, and the ability to work in a fast-paced manufacturing environment. Candidates must be detail oriented, punctual, able to communicate with others, and willing to work in a team environment. The work will be physically demanding and you will be working on your feet most the day, including some heavy lifting (up to 100lbs).
This is a full-time position; 4-day workweek, Monday - Thursday 7:00-5:15 (40 hours per week) Some potential overtime.

Responsibilities and Duties
NJ Sullivan is a leading fabricator of products for the electrical construction industry.
Candidate will be exposed to the latest technologies in metal fabrication; laser cutting, CNC punching, robotic welding, powder coating and more.
Key Responsibilities:
- Interpret blueprints, technical drawings, and welding symbols to determine welding requirements.
- Perform MIG (TIG optional), and/or Stick welding on steel, aluminum, and other metals.
- Set up and operate welding equipment, grinders, and cutting tools.
- Inspect welded surfaces and structures for defects and ensure compliance with quality standards.
- Collaborate with fabricators, machinists, and engineers to meet production goals.
- Maintain a clean and organized work area, following safety protocols and company procedures.
- Perform routine maintenance on welding equipment and report any malfunctions.
- Document work performed and maintain accurate production records.
Qualifications and Skills
- High school diploma or GED; technical certification in welding preferred.
- 2+ years of welding experience in a metal fabrication or manufacturing setting.
- Proficiency in MIG, TIG, and/or Stick welding techniques.
- Ability to read and interpret engineering drawings and welding symbols.
- Familiarity with measuring tools (calipers, micrometers, tape measures).
- Strong understanding of safety standards and PPE requirements.
- Physical ability to lift up to 50 lbs and stand for extended periods.

Pay: $20.00 - $26.00 per hour
