About OCVA
Orange County Volleyball Association (OCVA) is an academy-based volleyball training organization focused on skill development, technical mastery, and athlete growth. Our programs complement local club volleyball by providing high-quality supplemental training for youth athletes of all levels.
We are seeking motivated, professional coaches to lead sessions within our youth camps and clinics.
Position Overview
The Volleyball Coach will plan and run structured training sessions for athletes ages 8–15. Coaches are responsible for delivering high-quality instruction, maintaining a positive learning environment, and upholding OCVA’s technical training standards.
This role is ideal for coaches who are passionate about development-based training and enjoy working with young athletes.
Responsibilities
- Lead and manage volleyball training sessions
- Teach fundamental and intermediate technical skills
- Organize drills, progressions, and gameplay activities
- Provide constructive feedback to athletes
- Ensure athlete safety and positive environment
- Communicate with program leadership regarding session flow
- Assist with setup and equipment management
Qualifications
Preferred:
- Prior volleyball coaching experience (club, school, or camps)
- Playing experience at high school, collegiate, or higher level
- Strong communication and leadership skills
- Ability to manage groups of youth athletes
Required:
- Reliable and punctual
- Professional attitude and positive energy
- Ability to follow structured training plans
- Eligible to work in the U.S.
Schedule
OCVA youth volleyball sessions are currently held on Sundays (1.5-hour sessions) all year round. Typical session times are 4:00–5:00 PM or 7:00–8:30 PM, though exact times may vary. The full and most up-to-date schedule can be found on our website at:

Both Rising Stars Academy and OCVA Academy programs run simultaneously at the same facility.
This position offers potential continuity beyond the current sessions into higher-volume programming.
