Job description
We are searching for a meticulously coordinated Cashier to encourage the safe and fast actualization of delivery-related goals. To ensure success as a cashier, you should exercise your refined logistical skills to promote task-related efficiency across the company.
Cashier’s Responsibilities:
- Greeting customers when they enter the store
- Operating a cash register or computer system
- Taking payments from customers and providing them with the appropriate change when applicable
- Honoring coupons and discounts
- Keeping track of transactions and noting any discrepancies
- Processing product exchanges or returns
- Issuing refunds or store credit to customers who return products
- Ensuring store shelves are stocked
- Keeping checkout area tidy and sanitized
- Assisting with customer requests and inquiries
- Report damaged or missing inventory to supervisors
- Update logs for inventory processing
- Work as an active team member to complete team goals
- Assisting Warehouse manger
Cashier’s Requirements and Qualifications
- High school degree or equivalent
- Computer Skills
- Valid driver's license
- Able to pass background check
- Physically able to stand, sit, move, squat, walk, and climb during the shift
- Physically able to lift at least 50 pounds
- Excellent verbal and written communication skills
- Able to work in a fast-paced environment
- Able to work independently
- Pays attention to detail and monitors the quality of inventory
- Highly organized and able to store items efficiently
- Must follow all health and safety procedure and regulations as dictated by the organization and the state
- Excellent verbal communication skills.
- Bilingual (Spanish) is preferred
Requirements:
- High School Diploma or Equivalent
- Must have reliable transportation.
