Qualifications
- Authorized to work in the United States
- One must possess a valid driver’s license with a clean driving record
- Minimum of at least 21 years of age required
- A minimum of three years operating construction equipment
- Dependable! - show up everyday and show up ontime
- Safely follow company policies and procedures
- Show initiative and hustle while trying to anticipate needs/wants of what is next
- Work well with others on your crew and everyone in the company
- Get out of equipment to assist others working on your crew
Responsibilities
- Work under minimal supervision at times, safely and efficiently
- Types of equipment that may be operated are dozer, excavator, grader, mini excavator, skid steer, wheel loader, track loader, compaction equipment and haul truck on large and small projects
- From time to time, the job may require shoveling, bending, stooping, and carrying over 50 lbs
- Must keep equipment and work truck clean inside and out
- Daily equipment inspections
- Daily lubrication and maintenance
- Must safely operate company-owned equipment to prevent damage
- Maneuvering heavy equipment to ensure the accurate removal and placement of materials
- Ability to effectively work with and communicate with all levels of personnel and management
- Aiding coworkers to ensure that the site is clean and organized at the end of each day
Job/duties Summary
The Equipment Operator’s duties include preparing and manipulating heavy equipment to ensure appropriate movement of materials and working with coworkers to ensure the projects are completed accurately.
