Fairway Tree Service is looking to hire an experienced professional groundsman and Tree Climber to work with our crew. The successful candidate for this position will have the opportunity to work outdoors cleaning up and helping during tree removal. The ideal candidate has extensive experience using ropes, harnesses and chainsaws and will regularly utilize heavy equipment and flatbed trucks in their daily tasks. Pay will be based on experience and abilities. Pay is negotiable for the right person.
Responsibilities:
- Use appropriate safety equipment.
- Drive vehicle to and from work site.
- Load and unload equipment from vehicle.
- Work from heights while handling chainsaws.
- Exhibit proper lifting techniques and procedures.
- Clean up tree brush
- Drive a vehicle while towing or loading/unloading a trailer (with or without assistance); place chains on trees or other objects to prevent movement during trimming.
