Securities Settlements Analyst – Entry Level

A leading global financial firm is seeking a Securities Settlements Analyst to join their Global Markets Operations team in Salt Lake City. This is a great opportunity to build a career in financial operations, gaining exposure to trade processing, risk controls, and client service within a fast-paced markets environment.
You'll work alongside business, middle office, legal, and compliance teams, learning the full trade lifecycle while helping ensure transactions are processed accurately and efficiently.
What You'll Be Doing:
- Support the settlement of trades and transfers of assets across a variety of products
- Confirm transaction details are captured accurately and completely
- Collaborate with partner teams to ensure a smooth, end-to-end client experience
- Help identify gaps in existing processes and recommend improvements to reduce risk
- Contribute ideas for streamlining and modernizing daily workflows
- Build strong working relationships across departments while managing competing priorities
What We're Looking For:
- Bachelor's degree required
- Some experience in financial services preferred
- Strong analytical and problem-solving skills with a keen eye for detail
- A control-oriented mindset and commitment to accuracy
- Ability to communicate clearly with partners who have varying levels of product knowledge
- Self-starter who takes ownership, stays organized, and thrives under deadlines
- Preferred: exposure to securities post-trade processing or asset transfer functions
