Duties
- Implement and maintain planograms to ensure optimal product placement and visual appeal across the store.
- Assist with remodeling and interior design projects to enhance store layout and aesthetics.
- Lead merchandising efforts by stocking shelves, organizing displays, and ensuring products are priced correctly.
- Utilize Adobe Photoshop and Adobe Illustrator for creating promotional materials and visual layouts.
- Operate material handling equipment safely for heavy lifting and stock movement; use ladders for high shelving.
- Manage inventory control processes including stock replenishment, cycle counts, and shrink reduction.
- Provide excellent customer service by communicating effectively with clients and supporting their shopping needs.
- Support training and development initiatives for team members to promote store standards and operational excellence.
- Use mobile devices to update inventory data, scan products, and assist customers seamlessly.
- Maintain cleanliness, safety protocols, and organization throughout the store environment.
Skills
- Proven supervising experience with strong leadership capabilities to guide team members effectively.
- Proficiency in Adobe Photoshop and Adobe Illustrator for visual merchandising and marketing materials.
- Solid understanding of retail sales strategies, pricing techniques, and planogram implementation.
- Experience with store management systems including POS (Point of Sale) operations and inventory management software.
- Multilingual skills are a plus for engaging diverse customer bases; excellent communication skills are essential.
- Knowledge of schematics, interior design principles, remodeling processes, and visual design best practices.
- Ability to operate material handling equipment safely; experience with heavy lifting is preferred.
- Strong organizational skills with keen attention to detail for stock organization and inventory control.
- Effective time management skills to prioritize tasks in a fast-paced retail environment.
- Demonstrated ability in training & development to foster team growth; leadership experience is highly valued.
