No battery experience is required. We are looking for dependable people who can learn quickly, follow instructions, and keep pace in a fast-moving production environment.
What You’ll Do
- Assemble battery components and sub-assemblies using written instructions, drawings, and work orders.
- Use basic hand tools, fixtures, measuring devices, and production equipment.
- Check your work to ensure parts are installed correctly and meet quality standards.
- Complete required production and traceability documentation.
- Maintain a clean, safe, and organized workstation.
- Participate in training, cross-training, and continuous improvement activities.
- Support other production areas as business needs change.
The work is performed in a temperature-controlled manufacturing facility (which means A/C during this summer heat!) and regularly involves standing, reaching, bending, and handling parts and tools. Employees must be able to frequently lift up to 25 pounds and occasionally lift up to 50 pounds with assistance when needed.
Qualifications
- High school diploma or GED
- Dependable, punctual, and ready to work every scheduled day.
- Comfortable working in a fast-paced, quality-sensitive environment.
- Skilled in soldering, electrical panel building, and the use of hand tools such as calipers, ohmmeters, screwdrivers, pliers, and power tools.
- Able to follow written instructions, drawings, labels, and standard work.
- Detail-oriented and willing to ask questions when something does not look right.
- Able to work effectively as part of a team.
- Strong attention to detail with excellent manual dexterity; ability to work efficiently in a fast-paced environment.
- Previous manufacturing, assembly, automotive, warehouse, or quality experience is helpful, but not required.
