Salary: $97,440.48
Responsibilities - What you’ll do
Examples of Work:
- Assist with Director of Nursing Services (DNS) with management of the nursing department, including staffing, direction, monitoring and evaluation of the total nursing care program
- Work with Unit Managers to ensure key factor data is within acceptable parameters and the data is valid
- Coordinate with the medical director, attending physician, and DNS to ensure compliance with standard policies, procedures, agency, and Veterans Administration guidelines
- Identify and report significant occurrences to the Administrator/Assistant Administrator and DNS according to established policy
- Coordinate with Staff Development Coordinator and DNS to ensure adequate training for nursing staff, and provide hands-on resident assessment and staff education
- Document accurately and timely Veteran care in the electronic medical record (EMR)
- Assist DNS with preparation and maintenance of nursing reports and records
- Work evenings, nights, holidays, and weekends as needed
Qualifications - All you need for success
Qualifications:
- Licensure as a Registered Nurse in Missouri – in good standing
- 2+ years of experience as a registered nurse
