Responsibilities
- Greet guests warmly and provide attentive, friendly service throughout their visit
- Take accurate food and beverage orders using POS (Point of Sale) systems and relay them efficiently to the kitchen and bar staff
- Prepare and serve drinks responsibly, adhering to all food safety standards and alcohol regulations
- Maintain cleanliness and sanitation procedures across all service areas to ensure a safe dining environment
- Assist in setting up tables, refilling supplies, and ensuring the restaurant's overall cleanliness and organization
- Monitor guest satisfaction levels, promptly addressing any concerns or special requests with professionalism
- Follow food safety management protocols to uphold health standards and prevent contamination or foodborne illnesses
Qualifications
- Previous experience working in a restaurant or hospitality setting is preferred but not required; enthusiasm and willingness to learn are essential
- Strong customer service skills with a positive attitude and excellent communication abilities
- Knowledge of sanitation procedures and food safety practices to maintain a clean and safe environment
- Familiarity with POS systems for order processing and billing is advantageous
- Ability to multitask efficiently in a fast-paced environment while maintaining attention to detail
- Must be at least 18 years old (or as required by local regulations) with proper alcohol service certification if applicable
- Ability to stand for extended periods, lift moderate loads, and work flexible hours including evenings, weekends, and holidays
