Project Manager — Civil / Land Development (PE Required)
San Antonio | Full-time | In-office (with occasional site visits)
A growing civil engineering firm is hiring a Project Manager (PE) to lead site/civil projects through design and permitting while keeping delivery on schedule, on budget, and to a high quality standard. This role is also a people-leadership position—you’ll coach and develop Project Engineers and Senior Project Engineers and help create a team environment where people can do their best work.
What you’ll be responsible for
- Manage projects through key phases, tracking progress, quality, schedule, and budget
- Oversee and support preparation of construction documents and technical deliverables
- Build internal schedules and support proposal development for new opportunities
- Review billing summaries and help maintain healthy project financials
- Serve as a primary client point of contact
- Support hiring efforts and contribute to performance feedback/development discussions
- Prepare bid packages and technical specifications as needed
- Provide mentorship and direction to engineers; help maintain a positive, productive team culture
- Occasional travel to project sites
What you’ll bring
- BS in Civil Engineering
- Active Professional Engineer (PE) license (required)
- 8+ years relevant experience (site civil design + permitting)
- Working knowledge of AutoCAD, Civil 3D, and stormwater/hydrology & drainage tools
- Strong communication skills, ability to manage multiple deadlines, and a collaborative leadership style
Work environment
Primarily office-based with computer-focused work; occasional lifting (up to ~15 lbs) and site visits.

Pay: $120,000.00 - $155,000.00 per year
