Job Summary
We are seeking a dynamic and skilled Hotel Maintenance Engineer to ensure the seamless operation and upkeep of our hotel facilities. This energetic role involves performing preventative maintenance, troubleshooting, and repairing a wide range of mechanical, electrical, and plumbing systems. - Conduct routine inspections and preventative maintenance on HVAC systems, electrical wiring, plumbing, and mechanical equipment to ensure optimal performance.
- Diagnose and repair issues related to electrical systems, including the use of schematics and electrical testing tools such as ohmmeters.
- Perform welding, residential painting, and other handyman tasks to maintain the aesthetic appeal and safety of the property.
- Manage facilities maintenance activities using Computerized Maintenance Management Systems (CMMS) to track work orders and maintenance schedules.
- Supervise and coordinate maintenance staff or contractors during large projects or repairs, ensuring quality standards are met.
- Utilize programmable logic controllers (PLCs) for automation troubleshooting and system upgrades.
- Maintain detailed records of repairs, inspections, and maintenance procedures for compliance and future reference. Qualifications
- Proven experience in facilities maintenance or hotel engineering roles with a strong background in mechanical, electrical, and plumbing systems.
- Knowledge of schematics, electrical wiring diagrams, and mechanical blueprints.
- Hands-on experience with welding, residential painting, and general handyman tasks.
- Familiarity with Programmable Logic Controllers (PLCs), CMMS software, and troubleshooting electrical systems with tools such as ohmmeters.
- Strong mechanical knowledge combined with electrical experience to diagnose complex issues efficiently.
- Supervising experience in a maintenance or facilities setting is preferred.
- Excellent communication skills in English for clear documentation and team coordination.
- Ability to lead maintenance projects independently while ensuring safety standards are upheld.
