American Traveler is hiring a travel RN for an Emergency Department position in San Francisco, CA requiring a CA RN license, ACLS/PALS certifications, and at least one year of ED experience.

Work setting is a hospital-based Emergency Department

Shifts are variable 3x12-hour shifts with possible start times of 7a-7p, 11a-11p, 3p-3a, or 7p-7a
-
Every other weekend rotation required

No on-call responsibilities

Floating to other campus locations may be required based on census needs within scope of practice

Active CA RN license required

Current certifications required: BLS (AHA), ACLS, PALS, and NIHSS

Minimum 1 year of ED RN experience required

2 supervisor references obtained within the past year required for consideration

Must reside more than 50 miles from the facility to qualify for travel pay rates

Delivers competent, compassionate, and cost-effective patient care in accordance with evidence-based nursing practice, unit policies, and standards of care

Candidates who have previously worked at this facility must have been gone for at least 1 year before returning as a traveler

Only one holiday RTO request will be approved for the duration of the contract
