Accounting / Administrative Manager
Job Description
Job Summary:
Responsible for overseeing accounting, payroll, administrative, and financial management functions to support the efficient daily operation of the company. This role manages company financial processes, budgeting, payroll, reporting, and administrative systems while supervising office administration, HR, IT coordination, and accounts receivable functions. The position requires strong organizational, communication, and problem-solving skills with the ability to maintain accurate financial and operational processes.
Core Duties and Responsibilities:
Accounting & Financial Management:
- Oversee company accounting management functions and financial processes
- Manage expense tracking, budgeting, cash flow, and financial planning
- Monitor final project profitability and assist with financial reporting
- Manage accounts payable processes and review AP reports
- Process payroll, commissions, and sales bonus management
- Monitor reimbursable expenses and maintain payroll-related records
Administration & Department Oversight:
- Supervise accounts receivable and collections processes
- Oversee HR administration including PTO tracking, recruiting, onboarding, and employee benefits
- Coordinate with IT vendors and oversee internal troubleshooting processes
- Manage office administration functions including insurance management, expense tracking, and office support operations
- Support vendor/customer policy documentation and administrative procedures
- Provide leadership and support to ensure departments maintain company processes and standards
Qualifications:
- Bachelor’s degree in either Accounting, Finance, or Business Administration
- Ability to work on-site Monday – Friday, 8 AM to 5 PM
- Strong accounting, payroll, and administrative management experience
- Excellent communication, leadership, and organizational skills
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite, QuickBooks, and payroll systems
- Strong financial reporting and budgeting knowledge
- Ability to solve problem, maintain confidentiality, and improve processes
Pay: $70,000.00 - $75,000.00 per year
