Job Overview

Duties
- Erect metal framing structures according to detailed blueprints and schematics
- Operate power tools and heavy equipment safely to facilitate construction activities
- Read and interpret technical drawings, schematics, and construction plans for accurate execution
- Install drywall
- Measure dimensions accurately using tape measures and other hand tools for proper fit and alignment
- Handle heavy lifting tasks safely while maintaining strict adherence to safety protocols on-site
Skills
- Extensive experience in metal stud framing, drywall hanging, and Acoustical ceilings.
- Proficiency in blueprint reading, interpreting technical drawings, and understanding construction schematics
- Skilled in metal stud framing, drywall work, Acoustical ceilings and trim carpentry
- Strong knowledge of construction management principles and site safety procedures
- Ability to operate Scissor lifts and power tools confidently and responsibly
- Excellent hand tool proficiency along with basic math skills for measurements and calculations
- Experience with framing carpentry including woodworking, metal stud framing, dimensional measurements, and drywall installation
- Familiarity with interpreting technical drawings for remodeling or renovation projects
- Capable of heavy lifting and performing physically demanding tasks consistently throughout the workday.
Requirments
- Must be 18 years or older.
- Must have a valid driver license and reliable transportation.
- Must be willing to commute up to 60 miles from shop one way, or stay overnight if job requires.
