About the Role
At Al Manakeesh, our crew members are the face of everything we do. You're the first person our guests interact with and the reason they come back. A Day in the Life
- Prepare and assemble menu items efficiently, following food safety and sanitation standards every step of the way
- Run the POS confidently — taking orders, processing payments, and handling cash accurately
- Greet every guest warmly, take orders correctly, answer questions, and upsell menu items to enhance their experience
- Keep the restaurant clean and inviting — bussing tables, wiping down prep areas, and maintaining a space guests are happy to be in
- Handle food properly — packaging, serving, and storing ingredients the right way
- Stay sharp during the rush, managing your time so wait times stay low and quality stays high
- Follow all health regulations and food safety protocols without exception
What We're Looking For
- Arabic speaking is a plus — we proudly serve an Arabic-speaking community and value team members who can connect with our guests in their language
- Prior food service, quick service, or retail experience is a plus but not required — we'll train the right person
- Familiarity with POS systems is helpful; basic math and cash handling skills are a must
- Strong customer service instincts with a friendly, communicative approach
- Able to stand for extended periods, lift moderate weights, and stay active throughout the shift
- Knowledge of food safety and sanitation practices
- A proactive multitasker who manages their time well under pressure
