Responsibilities
- Supporting the Sous Chef and Executive Chef in the management of kitchen operations
- Assisting the Chefs in leading our team to ensure execution of the menu at the highest proficiency
- Preparing meals and food per Executive Chef's specifications
- Training staff on new methods or dishes
- Properly measuring kitchen ingredients and food portions
- Ensuring kitchen staff adheres to the set standards, procedures, department rules and sanitation requirements
- Using kitchen knives and other equipment safely to prepare food
- Managing kitchen inventory and ensuring supplies are fresh and of high quality
- Ensuring food temperatures when cooking and proper storage afterwards
- Keeping all workstations and equipment clean, organized, and sanitized

- Exceptional cooking skills
- Knowledge of health and safety standards

- Excellent communication skills
- Computer literacy ( Word, Excel, ect)
- Calm approach to stressful environments
- 5+ years kitchen experience

Pay: $57,500.00 - $65,000.00 per year
