Job Purpose:
Factory Front of House team provides exceptional customer service and drives sales through customer engagement and education, suggestive selling, and sharing product knowledge. They maintain an orderly, clean, and welcoming space; and provide an outstanding experience for all guests.
Responsibilities:
- Greets and engages with guests; provides excellent customer service
- Maintains knowledge of all products (ingredients, allergens, quality standards)
- Educates, answer questions and provides recommendations
- Upsells when appropriate and informs our guests of our other locations and services
- Creates consistent beverages and plated desserts by following company recipes and guidelines
- Processes payments, returns and exchanges
- Assists with inventory, including receiving and stocking products
- Helps maintain merchandise and displays; keeps product organized and neat
- Ensures a clean and safe establishment by adhering to sanitation, hygiene, safety, and alcohol beverage control policies
- May participate in tours program at an an additional rate: guide company created tours; educate guests on company history, cocoa origins, FBC chocolate and confections making processes, provide tasting experience
Qualifications:
- Previous restaurant experience required (1+ year service experience preferred)
- Ability to perform basic math (addition and subtraction)
- Flexible and adaptable; thrives in a fast paced environment
- Ability to maintain positivity and composure during all types of situations
- Alignment with FBC mission, vision, and values
- Comfortable with Public Speaking

Working conditions:
Position may require evenings, weekends, holidays and overtime as necessary. Mixture of indoor and outdoor work in varying climatic conditions. May be subject to high noise levels. Repetitive tasks with infrequent rest periods.
Physical requirements:
Standing for for extended periods of time, reaching, bends and stoops frequently. Solo lift up to 50# on a regular basis, team lift 70+ lb occasionally with help of cart or dolly.
