Job Summary
We are seeking a motivated and detail-oriented Window Installation Specialist to join our dynamic construction team. Duties
- Measure window openings accurately using dimensional measurement tools to ensure proper fit and alignment.
- Interpret technical drawings, blueprints, schematics, and construction plans to guide installation processes.
- Use hand tools, power tools, and fabrication equipment to remove old windows and install new units efficiently.
- Handle glass installation with precision, ensuring secure fitting and proper sealing to prevent leaks.
- Apply caulking, trim carpentry, and fixture installation techniques to finish windows professionally.
- Perform heavy lifting of window units and related materials safely while following all safety protocols.
- Conduct quality control inspections by measuring installed windows against specifications and correcting discrepancies.
- Read and interpret construction schematics and blueprints to coordinate with other trades on-site.
- Execute remodeling tasks such as door hanging, cabinet installation, metal stud framing, and drywall finishing as needed.
- Maintain a clean work environment by organizing tools, disposing of debris properly, and adhering to safety standards throughout the project lifecycle.
Experience
- Proven construction site experience with a focus on window installation or related carpentry work.
- Strong knowledge of construction estimating, blueprint reading, schematics interpretation, and measurement techniques.
- Hands-on experience with hand tools, power tools, fabrication equipment, and glass handling procedures.
- Familiarity with building codes, safety regulations, and quality standards related to window installation projects.
- Background in remodeling projects including fixture installation, drywall finishing, painting, metal stud framing, and cabinetry is highly desirable.
- Prior handyman experience or general construction experience that demonstrates versatility in various trades is advantageous.
- Ability to lift heavy materials safely and work at heights when necessary while maintaining attention to detail in all tasks performed.

Pay: $25.00 - $30.00 per hour
