Travel Physical Therapist - Outpatient

Job Details

American Traveler is seeking a licensed Physical Therapist with at least 1 year of experience for an outpatient rehab position in Jacksonville, TX.

Outpatient Physical Medicine & Rehabilitation setting
Patient population includes orthopedic, balance, deconditioned, and pain management cases
Monday–Friday, 8:00 AM–5:00 PM schedule with no weekend or holiday shifts indicated
13-week contract with potential for temp-to-perm conversion

Minimum 1 year of physical therapy experience required; outpatient experience strongly preferred
TX LPT license required (compact license accepted); license required if applicable
BLS certification required (American Heart Association only)
Bachelor's degree required; Doctorate (DPT) preferred
2 professional references required for consideration
US Social Security Number required for consideration
Active certifications must be provided — expired certifications will result in disqualification

Responsibilities include independently assessing patients, formulating measurable and attainable goals, and reassessing patient progress per department and regulatory policy
Role requires strong clinical judgment in recognizing additional patient needs during evaluation and coordinating with physicians as necessary
Candidates must reside more than 50 miles from the facility to be eligible for travel rates
Primary source verification of license (e.g., Nursys) required
