Bridge Bread Bakery Distribution Assistant
Role Description This individual will be responsible in assisting with the Order-To-Cash cycle process. This position reports to the Managing Director of Bridge Bread Bakery. 15 days PTO available after 6 months of employment. Schedule is Monday - Friday, 10am until 4pm, and other occasional hours outside of this range.

Job Description:
Responsible in assisting with the Order-to-Cash Cycle Process including:
· Order Management
· Order Fulfillment
· Picking and Delivery
· Invoicing
· Accounts Receivable
· Reporting
· Inventory
· Ringing out Café (retail) sales to customers
· Assist in minor baking and packaging of baked goods
Although many duties will be completed at a workstation, this position will include physical activities such as picking and packing orders, putting away finished baked goods into freezers, doing product inventory, and assisting customers loading large orders into vehicles. This individual will have customer service duties via phone, face-to-face, and online. They will stand up to 100% of the time. Other tasks include grasping, pushing/pulling carts, bending, and squatting.
Qualifications
- Strong Communication and Customer Service skills to interact professionally with customers, partners, and team members.
- Experience or aptitude in Distribution and Inventory Control to manage orders, stock levels, and product rotation accurately.
- Reliable work habits, including punctuality, attention to detail, and the ability to follow procedures and safety guidelines.
- Comfort with physical tasks such as lifting, carrying, and moving products for extended periods, in compliance with safety standards.
- High school diploma or equivalent preferred; previous experience in distribution, warehousing, or delivery support is beneficial.
- Commitment to Bridge Bread Bakery’s mission and respect for individuals from diverse backgrounds and life experiences.
Pay: $16.00 - $17.50 per hour
