We have an opening for a Quality Technician. This position are on day shift typically working from 6am - 2:30pm Monday through Friday. Overtime pay is one and a half times over 40 hours and double time on Sunday. Weekend work may be required.
JOB RESPONSIBILITIES
1. Operate the Faro Arm or other laser scanner and create reports as needed.
2. Buy off on parts and/or jobs. Approve parts when the job is completed.
3. Test sheet metal components and assemblies
4. Check parts on fixtures
5. Complete weld verifications.
6. Use calipers, micrometers and heighth gauges
REQUIRED SKILLS
1. Proficiency in scanning
2. Ability to read blueprints
3. Part layout
4. Basic computer skills
EDUCATION / EXPERIENCE
Requires High School Diploma or equivalent with 1-3 years industry experience; Knowledge of Polyworks software is preferred. Basic computer skills, along with strong attention to detail.
