We are a growing, established commercial entrance solutions company specializing in the installation and repair of Overhead Doors, Loading Dock Equipment, and Industrial Entrance Systems. We are looking for a highly skilled Lead Technician who excels at complex mechanical repair and welding/fabrication in a field environment. What You’ll Do
- Fabrication & Repair (MUST HAVE): Perform heavy-duty on-site repairs, modification, and fabrication using welding equipment to maintain industrial doors, dock levelers, safety equipment, and structural components.
- Commercial Service & Installation: Lead installs, preventative maintenance, and troubleshooting for all commercial systems, including high-speed doors and specialized dock equipment (levelers, restraints).
- Technical Leadership: Act as the go-to technical expert, setting quality standards, mentoring junior technicians, and overseeing the execution of complex jobs from start to finish.
- Troubleshooting: Apply strong mechanical and electrical aptitude to diagnose issues with industrial door operators, safety controls, and dock systems.
- Logistics & Safety: Maintain project schedules, ensure the safe handling of materials, and adhere to strict safety protocols.

Required Qualifications
- Welding Expertise: Proven experience in welding and/or metal fabrication is a critical requirement. You must be capable of performing repairs and modifications in the field.
- Industry Experience: 3+ years in a related industrial, manufacturing, maintenance, or commercial construction trade.
- Technical Skills: Strong proficiency in mechanical and basic electrical troubleshooting needed for industrial automation and machinery.
- Leadership: A natural leader who is dependable, problem-solving, and safety-focused.
- Physical: Must be able to handle the physical demands of industrial fieldwork.
