Join our team as a Bartender, this historic bar is looking for your positive energy and passion that will create memorable experiences for our guests. Live Music Entertainment 3 nights a week.
Responsibilities
- Prepare and serve a variety of beverages, including cocktails, wine, and non-alcoholic options, ensuring consistency and quality.
- Engage with guests in a friendly, energetic manner to enhance their overall experience.
- Manage POS systems such as Aloha POS and Micros POS to process orders accurately and efficiently.
- Maintain cleanliness and organization of the bar area, adhering to food safety and sanitation standards.
- Handle cash transactions, process payments accurately, and balance registers at shift end.
- Collaborate with restaurant staff to coordinate service during busy periods or special events like banquets or catering functions.
- Monitor inventory levels of spirits, beer, wine, and mixers; assist with stock replenishment as needed.
- Uphold responsible alcohol service policies by checking IDs and recognizing signs of intoxication.
Experience
- Proven experience as a bartender.
- Have a current MAST & Food Handlers Permit.
- Strong knowledge of mixology techniques, beverage recipe development, and spirits expertise.
- Excellent customer service skills with the ability to engage guests warmly while maintaining professionalism.
- Previous restaurant or food service experience demonstrating effective time management skills.
- Ability to handle cash transactions accurately using retail math principles; basic math skills are essential.
Pay: From $17.13 per hour
