Job Summary
We are seeking a proactive and detail-oriented Permitting Coordinator to join our team and drive compliance with regulatory standards across our projects. Responsibilities
- Coordinate and manage the entire permitting process for construction, manufacturing, or development projects, ensuring timely submission of permit applications.
- Collaborate with internal teams, external agencies, and regulatory bodies to gather necessary documentation and clarify permit requirements.
- Ensure all permits meet OSHA (Occupational Safety and Health Administration) standards, FDA (Food and Drug Administration) regulations, and other relevant legal requirements.
- Maintain detailed records of permit applications, approvals, renewals, and compliance documentation for audit readiness.
- Prepare comprehensive reports on permitting status, compliance issues, and project progress for management review.
- Monitor ongoing regulatory changes affecting permits or compliance standards; update procedures accordingly.
- Facilitate communication between project teams and permitting authorities to resolve issues swiftly and efficiently.
Requirements
- Proven experience in construction permitting, regulatory compliance management, or related fields.
- Strong understanding of OSHA safety standards, FDA regulations, and public health policies impacting project permits.
- Excellent report writing skills with the ability to compile clear documentation for regulatory reporting purposes.
- Demonstrated ability to navigate complex permitting processes across multiple jurisdictions.
- Exceptional organizational skills with meticulous attention to detail in record keeping and documentation management.
- Ability to interpret technical regulations and communicate requirements effectively across teams.
- Bachelor’s degree in environmental science, public health, engineering, or a related discipline is preferred but not mandatory.
