We have three full- time Assistant Residential Program Manager supporting individuals with developmental and intellectual disabilities in Putnam County!
Seven unique men with their own sense of community live at the Mooney Hill residence. The house lies in a scenic area, neatly tucked away in the woods with a spacious yard and taste of nature. The folks who live there enjoy going outside when it’s nice out and playing sports, waving at all the cars who pass by. They are open to go on many different trips throughout the area and farther, but they all have their favorites as well! Ludingtonville is only a few miles away from the individual’s favorite stores, there are 8 individuals 6 ladies and 2 gentlemen fun loving age range 48-100 they all attend route six center Carmel day program, they enjoy music, dance, arts and crafts, shopping and going out for their community. Fun Fact the property was once owned by Elizabeth Montgomery (Bewitched actress).
There are some physical needs at the house but the people here will sure put a smile on your face.
Foggintown is an 11-bed residence set back from the road in a quiet residential neighborhood in Brewster, NY. We are conveniently located near walking trails, restaurants, and shopping areas. The individuals who live here are a mixed group of young adults and older folks who enjoy a combination of quiet relaxation and laid-back outings. Each has a unique personality and their own way of communicating and forming relationships. Most have lived together for many years and feel like a family, but they welcome new, friendly faces. They enjoy personal attention and many benefit from hands-on assistance with personal hygiene and daily living skills. Foggintown is a great place to work if you enjoy helping people with different abilities. The Assistant Residential Program Manager is responsible for the health, safety and well-being of assigned residents, as well as providing supervision and direction to staff.
Previous experience in the Developmental Disabilities field required and some supervisory experience preferred. Must have good communication, organizational and writing skills. Ability to work effectively with others. Must have a clean driving record and the ability to pass a vigorous AMAP course.
